Road Trip Across America

Orba Squara, is the stage name for New York singer Mitch Davis. He has recorded two full-length albums, Sunshyness and  ”The Trouble With Flying.” Davis uses many unexpected instruments on the album including mandolin, glockenspiel, accordion, sitar, violin, harmonica, toy pianos, xylophone and ukulele. In support of Orba Squara‘s “The Trouble With Flying” Davis took a 10-day road trip across the country and documented the experience with a fantastic, scrolling photo/design/audio diary. Here are a few screen shots.

TRIM PARTY GETS FAST & LOUD

We threw a party at the TRIM Warehouse and welcomed a few hundred people over for a night of live music from alt-country rockers Trigger 5 and Miles of Wire.

Bull Run and Gum Ball 3000 Rally winner Richard Rawlings was there to help keep it at an  11. Roller Girls, Rolling Rock, Bacardi and transvestite hooker helped make it a super swell evening.

A Journey Across America

Orba Squara celebrated the release of their latest record “The Trouble With Flying,” by taking a journey across the US and then publishing that experience in one continuous online scroll. Here’s a few shots but please check out the entire road trip: music, video, photos, design, wanderlust and the feeling that only comes from travel – amazing.

The Ha HA Tonka show at Off Broadway was great. Rolling Rock sponsored an amazing BBQ, the weather was perfect, tons of people and the beer was cold.. what else do you need. Oh yeah, Lucas Long to rock a TRIM, Motor Head T and hat all night. I will be posting more on Ha Ha Tonka as the tour progresses.
